Another of the prominent items seen in the alley next to the laserdisc garbage are pink square blocks that are marked “Caution Silicone”.  These are discarded silicone breast implants.

Apparently the citizens of Hill Valley are not only getting a lot of silicone implants, but they’re having them removed and new ones inserted.

Yeah, this makes no sense.  It’s likely that this was put in the background of the movie to be a silly commentary that silicone implants would be very common in the future.

This is way off the mark of our 2015 reality.
